Barbering
Did You Know?
Our Barber program has evolved. In Utah, Barbers are limited in the scope of practice which excludes all chemicals from hair coloring to chemical texturing such as perms or straighteners. We were one of the first colleges to begin training in “Hair Design” which we refer to as “Today’s Barber” which includes chemical hair services.

Our Barbering program combines the key parts of Barbering and Hair Design allowing students to learn not only traditional cutting but clipper work, straight edge razor shaves as well as all chemical hair services.
