Utah Electrologists Attend National Electrology Convention

Nov 25 2011

Utah Electrologists and electrologists from all over the world gathered in Nashville, Tennessee.

Electrologists, permanent hair removal practitioners, gathered in Nashville Tennessee, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center on October 28-30, 2011 for the largest gathering of electrology professionals from all over the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia: the American Electrology Association (AEA) Annual Convention and Exhibitors’ Showcase.

This year, the convention focused on helping electrologists improve themselves, their skills and their practices.  Attendees heard expert speakers discuss a wide range of topics including PCOS, cardiovascular disease, laser vs. electrolysis, sterilization & infection control, emergency situations, treating the ethnic skin tones, social media and professional liability insurance.

In addition to the fine lectures, Utah Electrologists- Marie Lawson, Jacie Starley, Megan Marshall, Adriane Baxter and Brenda Scharman, not only viewed new equipment and products at the Exhibitors Showcase, but brought home what is recognized as the newest technology in electrolysis equipment by Dectro International, Apilus Platinum 27 MHz Pure – The World Exclusive.  Utah is fortunate, being 2 of 33 States requiring licensure to practice as an electrologist as well as waxing and laser treatments as well as being the home of one of the Nations Nationally Accredited Leading Educational Institutions for Electrolysis providing optimal education.

These highly credible Utah Electrologists provide permanent hair removal for the public.  For more information:
